Location: Concorde International Junior Centre Rochester is run from the King’s School in the town of Rochester, about thirty miles east of London. Founded in 604 A.D., King’s School is one of the oldest schools in Britain. Just over ten minutes on foot from the Rochester Railway station, the centre is just a short distance from Rochester Castle (a 12th century stone keep), Restauration House (Elizabethan era), and of course, the magnificent Rochester Cathedral.
The centre: Concorde International has many years of experience providing English language summer camps for children and teens. Students can expect top quality classes with experienced teachers and a strong support system, both academic and personal.
Experience London: Thanks to Rochester’s close proximity to London, students on the Concorde International Junior programme at King’s School experience London twice a week, after their morning classes. There they visit museums and local attractions and have dinner in the city before returning to Rochester. In addition to the outings to London, students have at least one full-day excursion per week to other nearby destinations, such as Canterbury, Brighton or Cambridge as well as local visits to sites in Rochester and an activity programme which keeps students on the go from breakfast to bedtime.
Getting there: Rochester has excellent transport links to most major cities in the UK, and is easily accessible from the London airports by train, with Gatwick and Southend being the two closest by car.

Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
