Location: Concorde International Junior Centre - Christ Church University is an English language Summer School based on the modern campus of Christ Church University in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Canterbury. Located in the heart of the city, not far from the famed cathedral, the campus is near to all amenities and many of the city’s important monuments including the fascinating Canterbury Roman Museum with artifacts from Canterbury’s Roman era.
Programmes: Concorde International Junior Centre - Christ Church University welcomes students from across the globe, aged 14 to 17 years, to participate in their residential programmes, living and studying in the campus facilities at Canterbury Christ Church University. They can choose between the General Programme or the Leadership Skills option.
Accommodation: Students on the programme stay in single ensuite rooms in apartment style university residence where each flat has anywhere from 3 to 9 individual rooms. All students have a full board meal plan provided at a campus dining facility.
Activities: These residential programmes at Concorde International Junior Centre - Christ Church University include a generous programme of afternoon activities and outings as well as evening social events. Students also will participate in one half-day and one or two full-day excursions each week.
Getting there: Concorde International Junior Centre - Christ Church University has excellent transport links to Eurostar International and the city of London. The best International London Airport for travel to Canterbury by car is London Gatwick (LGW), which is about an hour and 20 minutes away. London Heathrow (LHR) is a little further away at close to two hours by car, depending on traffic conditions.
