Location: Churchill House Junior Centre Lewes is located close to the traditional market town of Lewes, in south-eastern England. Housed within Plumpton College, students have an array of facilities and gardens on hand to make sure they have a unique and productive educational experience. Just 30 minutes from Brighton and within a 2-hour train ride of London, the school is well-situated for international arrivals and departures.
Activities & Excursions: Free activities available at Plumpton College include football, basketball, archery, an introduction to horse riding, climbing, kayaking and indoor sports. Classes in crafts and drama are also available. Excursions vary depending on the week of study chosen and can include trips to London, Windsor and Brighton.
Accommodation: The accommodation facilities at Churchill House Junior Centre Lewes at Plumpton College are all on-site. There are single and twin bedrooms in separate male and female blocks. Washing and toilet facilities are shared, at a ratio of approximately one bathroom for every five students.
School Facilities: The school's sporting facilities are expansive, offering 900 acres of land, volleyball and basketball courts, table tennis, a games room, horse stables and a climbing wall! There is also an animal care centre next to the forest! Plumpton College also has a lake.
Plumpton College has WIFI for student use.
One small bag of laundry per student is permitted each week.
Towels are not provided by the school.
Bed linen is provided by the school and changed weekly.
