"It's a great city with a wonderful centro storico, friendly people and good public transportation. The school is located right next to San Lorenzo Cathedral which is very centrally located in the centro storico and near the port and an easy walk to most places. I visited the famous palazzi, the maritime museum, many churches as well as taking the train to the suburbs of Nervi and Camogli. They are known for their flocaccia , pesto genovese, pesto trofie and wonderful seafood, among other things."

"We were only two in the class as people weren't travelling due to Covid. This meant the teaching was intensive but I never felt under pressure. The content was good and seemed to flow from subjects the students were interested in."

"Having friends in Genoa, I already knew the city, the city center is magnificent with many ancient palaces, in history the republic of Genoa competed with the republic of Venice, the porto antico in its style is pretty too, the walks on the top of the are to be done with a breathtaking view of the sea, the traffic is dense there as in all the big cities but the Italian drivers are very fair-plays and patient with the foreign drivers, the gastronomy of the sea and the excellent Italian wines, the custom of the Aperitivo from 6.30 pm is to be discovered, the inhabitants are friendly and absolutely."

"Perfect, Paola immediately understood what I needed and with 10 hours of lessons, I assimilated the maximum of grammar basics, she also made me speak as much as possible, gave me advice for the post-internship , she is very nice and very professional. I will be back for new lessons."

"We all have our own special preferences. I really enjoyed a little circular hike from Zecca (the train service was out of order) to Righi, Forte Begato to the Piazza Principe train station, on which you get a very nice view of the city, the sea and the hilly landscape at various points. The huge old Cimitero Staglieno on Via Piacenza (easy to get to by bus) is also well worth seeing."

"Genoa is the ideal city by the sea, ideal for walking to everything, ideal for excursions along the coast and into the hinterland - it is neither too big nor too small. In my 10 days I got a good insight from her."

"Since I was the only student, there was only a 1:1 lesson, which I really enjoyed, as Paola was able to focus on my language level and my interests. Due to Corona, the school unfortunately had to close after 10 days."

"The location of the accommodation was ideal for the city center and the school. My host was open and helpful, the room clean and well equipped (kettle for coffee/tea, pastries), the bathroom for me right next to my room. I would love to stay there again if I continued my course that I had broken off."

"We had a perfect stay in Genova. During our first day in school, we were welcomed warmly. Our teacher was brilliant. We chose a two to one language course to improve our basic Italian knowledge. The mix of subjects covered more than our expectations. We studied the Italian way of life, food, and background from Genova. Every single lesson was very interesting. The mixture of grammar and speech was perfect. We can only recommend this language school. Not to forget that the teachers were kind and helpful to organize an exiting stay in Genova with useful information."
