"Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, as it was off-season, there was no suitable group for me. I was placed in a rather weak A2 group, which was very boring at times. Even though I may not have learned that much new, just speaking constantly was very beneficial.
Every day, you could book paid excursions through the school, which were well-organised and really great – but there was nothing organised by the school itself. A discussion evening or a film evening or something similar would have been excellent."

"A rather small town, not much going on outside the tourist season. Unlike Sliema or St. Julian's, there is hardly anything to shop for or see. But you can sit by the sea in peace and enjoy the scenery. The bus system is good, and you can get anywhere relatively quickly."

"The apartment was nice, clean and well-equipped. There is no washing machine, but you can ask the cleaning lady for a laundry service. The area itself is relatively quiet (with the windows closed), on the weekends there were parties in the neighbouring houses, so it was a bit louder."

"Location and rooms. One of the two teachers was nice."

"My mother was not allowed to stay in the classroom during private lessons, so lessons had to be cancelled for two days. There was no teacher available for one day, so another day had to be cancelled. After discussion, two days were reimbursed (out of three cancelled days). On the first day, I had to arrive at 8:45 a.m., even though my lesson was not until 1 p.m. I was informed of this without any apology."

"We didn't explore much of St. Paul's Bay, especially in the evening, so I can't give a precise judgment. We used Bolt to get around, which has a strong presence on the island but also a lot to improve: drivers who speed excessively, and if you're stuck in rush hour, you risk not being able to get back home."

"The level of the teaching lessons did not correspond to the level I had before. I cannot say that I've increased my language level considerably.
I was a bit confused that I should have paid 6.7 Euros more as I was told that the payment with PayPal had an extra charge. However, when I committed a payment it was written that the PayPal payment was free of any charges.
The management and organisation in the school can be improved e.g. the managers interrupted the lessons many times to solve some organisation issues such as app, evaluation forms etc. As I received the student card, I was told during the first lesson about some discounts. However, I did not have the list of the places where the discount can be applied so that I did not use that card at all. It would be nice if I were informed before the lessons started.
Unfortunately, I did not participate in any events or excursions offered by the school as I found it too expensive."
